The Pear Fair is a celebration of the annual Bartlett Pear Harvest in the picturesque, Sacramento River Delta region of California. Nestled along the Sacramento River, the town of Courtland is located 20 miles south of Sacramento on scenic Highway 160. Organized and run by a committee of local volunteers, it has become a long-standing summer tradition in the Delta that reflects the character and lifestyle of rural life, family fun, and is a wonderful day of entertainment, festivities, food and drink shared by all who attend each year. Come join us!
Celebrate the Delta’s famous fruit, along with a variety of live music, great food and wine, arts and crafts, classic cars and tractors, parade, fun rides and activities for the kids and more.
Admission is free. A $10 parking fee for cars, $5 for motorcycles, and $2 for bicycles benefits educational scholarships and the Courtland Volunteer Fire Association. Parking is just a short walk from fair activities. Please note that any vehicle parked on Hwy 160 during the fair is subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
Beat the city heat and come enjoy the glorious ‘Delta Breeze’ as you celebrate with us!
